PROGRAM
Padel is a combination of tennis, squash and beachball. You play it 2 against 2 on a court with 4 glass walls. The use of the walls around the court gives the game an extra dimension. Just like in tennis, the ball may bounce once on the surface before it must go to the other side. Just like in squash, this can be the ground or the wall.
The walls make a seemingly impossible ball still reachable, but they also make feeling and tactics even more important than in tennis. The smaller court and the use of the walls make Padel an explosive sport where speed and endurance are less crucial. It's easy to pick up and the rules and scoring system are the same as in tennis.
However, you use a different racket. A Padel racket is smaller than a tennis racket and has no strings, but is made of fibreglass or carbon. The padel court is suitable for 2 to 4 people. Rackets & balls are included in the rental. The renter must be at least 14 years old or older and sports shoes are mandatory.
